Tallulah's Tap Shoes

Ivy, a die hard ballerina, loves any book having to do with ballet. Even though she is outgrowing picture books, she still loves Tallulah and was happy with this new one. Tallulah is thrilled to be going to dance camp with her little brother, Beckett. She is less than thrilled she has to take tap, since it is not as elegant as ballet and she is not nearly as good as a fellow classmate, Kacie.

Kacie, in turn, can't stand ballet because it is not as cool as tap and she just can't seem to get her steps right. Will the two girls be able to recognize themselves in each other and grow from the experience? Of course! Ivy gives her approval! Another reason Ivy loves this book is the French dance terms thrown in with illustrations - a chance to practice more steps.
